The
worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but
to be indifferent
to them. That's the essence of inhumanity. -George

Dell Elementary Second Graders Raise $792.46 for JCAPL
RiverDell
Elementary second graders raised $792.46 to help provide care
for the animals fostered by the Johnston Co. Animal Protection
League. The fundraiser was the Wax Museum. The children were dressed
as their "Famous American" and sat still like wax figures
and were activated by someone placing money in a cup. Once the
money was dropped into the cup the child came to life and recited
a speech telling about the "Famous American" they were
portraying. All of the money place in the cups was donated to
the JCAPL.
JCAPL
board member Becky Hochman acepted the check from second grade
teacher Susan Moore. Becky visited each second grade class and
introduced the students to black lab puppy "Zeus". Zeus
is a foster puppy who is going to be adopted to a great new home.
Everyone had a good time petting Zeus. Zeus really enjoyed all
the attention!
Thank you RiverDell
Elementary second graders for helping JCAPL help the animals of
Johnston County!
