Lost
- Sweet Pea was let out by mistake on Feb. 10th. She is
a female with only one eye and can't see nor hear. I have
searched and searched for her for the last almost 2 weeks
now. She is on blood pressure medicine and needs her medicine
desperately. If you have seen her or if anybody should happen
to bring her in I really miss her and need her to come home.

my husband let her out and failed to watch her. I live in
Horseman's run subdivison off Buffaloe rd. in Clayton (Archer
Lodge area). She weighs only about 7 lbs. and like I said

- Jessie is a boxer/chocolate lab. He is black in color
with a really big head. He also has a white chest, but is
a very big boy about 135 pounds. He gets scared easy so
he might shy away. He has on a blue collar and also a bark
collar that is black but the box itself is green. He is
also up to date on all shots and is neutered. Both of my
dogs were heading outside Tuesday morning January 20,2009
at 6:30 am for their morning potty break and got their taste
of their first snow. They got so excited they took off in
it. Jessie was last seen with Roxie, who is a boxer brindle
and has since returned, off of 42 west heading toward Cornwallis.
We were able to track their footprints in the snow around
the Kids Club House. I would love to have my children back.
My husband and I don't have kids of our own so we consider
our 4 legged family our children and we miss them with all

young dog (Lab and Schnauzer mix?) decided to hang out for
a round of disc golf Saturday, Jan 3, 2009, and I took her

and dew claws are gone. He weighs about 65 pounds and is 4

- We have lost our beloved kitty "Missy" from our
home near Clayton Middle School (intersection of Guy Rd. and
Laurel Ridge Dr.).She is an 11 year old all black shorthair
weighing about 10 pounds. She is declawed in front and is
missing some of her lower front teeth. Generally reacts to
her name. We are putting an addition on our home, and she
apparently decided to explore a hole in the floor that opened
out into the crawlspace. She was last seen Saturday night,

- We have lost a dog. He was a stray that started staying
around our home. He's been with us since July. I don't know

- A very friendly and sweet male puppy. Approximately 4 months
old. The coloring is mix, Black and white.He was found running
down Castleberry road in Clayton, on Sunday 10/5 at 9:00am.

- A very sweet mixed breed (looks like she has a
little pit bull in her) showed up in our yard. This morning
I said poor thing, you just want to go home. At the word “home”
her ears picked up and she jumped through the open window
in my van and has been patiently waiting for me to take her
there every since. We drove around the neighborhood but she
didn’t seem to recognize anything. She won’t come
in the house. We live in Pleasant Woods at 40/42 in “Garner”.

- Our snowshoe cat (Siamese and American Shorthair
mix) Snowy, has been missing for around two weeks. He is tri
color with a mask on his face. (white with dark brown and
cream). He has a crooked lower jaw due to some one very cruel
shooting him in the face. It has been repaired surgically
but his jaw is still crooked and so eating and hunting are
difficult for him. We rescued him as he was abandoned, so
he is a little shy of people until he gets to know them. please

Wednesday night (7-23-08) while our family was on vacation.

Dinky is 16 years young and over weight. Have checked local

- My Rotti ran off on July 4th and we waited 2 days before
we started looking for her. She has ran off before but 2 days
is the longest she had ever been gone. I live in the Hwy 42W/70
bypass area. I have checked the woods behind us and all along

German shepherd, colors are Tan and white with back muzzle.
He is friendly, hungry and dirty with no collar. Anyone claiming
dogs must show proof of ownership and describe the dog accurately.
He will be fostered until claimed. After 3 days he will taken
to the veterinarian for shots and owner must reimburse us.

mix. He is all white and is maybe a foot and a half tall.

- Our 3 year old male Domestic short-haired grey tabby cat,
named Montague, went missing from his yard in the Hidden Hills
Subdivision off of Ranch Road near Clayton. Montague is somewhat
of a loner around other cats, despite the fact that he has
several bothers and a sister living with him, and really hasn't
developed his "tomcat" fighting instincts; he prefers
to be left alone. However, Montague loves attention from his
adopted parents (especially his Dad), so he may be more apt
to respond to a man more than a women if he's found. Montague
has a small, but noticeable, indentation on the left side
of his upper lip from an earlier injury (completely healed),
and is of average size and normal weight for a male cat with
no other distinguishing features; he has green eyes. Montague
has had all of his shots through last year as well as monthly
flea and tick treatments; however, he's due next month for
this year's vaccinations. We, and his extended feline family,
miss him very much and are offering a reward if he is found,
as well as complete reimbursement for any veterinarian bills
should they be necessary; we can be reached anytime day or

-PLEASE HELP!! Our family has lost a HUGE part of our life
on 3/14/08 near Guy Rd in Clayton. Bishop is a 9 year old,
mostly brown Pit Bull Terrier with half of his face in white
and his paws are white. He looks like a mean dog but he is
VERY SWEET!! Bishop plays with the neighborhood kids and loves
and protects our 3 girls with his life. I came home on Friday
from work and he had chewed through his gate in his fence.
His collar was still in the fence, it must have came off while
he was prying on the gate. We have spent 3 days and many hours
looking everywhere we can think of to find him with no luck.

-Tigger is a grey and brown tabby and an indoor/outdoor cat,
he is estimated to be about 3 and a half years old. We adopted
him in Germany where we were stationed for three years. He
is very friendly, playful, and mellow. He loves to lay around

for a morning stroll around Terrace Ridge Rd and the 210 highway
near Angier on the 5th of march. He may have been scared by

the 18th of May. She was last spotted on HWY 70 about 1/2

- On Friday, Feb 09, 2007 our 9 mo old, black male lab/mix
with wavy coat seems to have dropped off the earth. We believe
he was either taken somewhere and dropped or is being confined.
We live in the country on Hiway 39, 1 mi south of hwy 231
(Emit). He and his best buddy, a Border Collie were playing
in the creek and the fields. She came home at 1 p.m. but without
him and is not happy about that. He weighs about 50 lbs, is
neutered, and was wearing a green collar with a brass id plate

cat, Monkey, was stolen from my children and me a few months
ago from the Dunn area. I just found out today (1/10/07) that
the person who took my cat dropped him off in Smithfield possibly
near 70 business and 301 intersection. He is a male Balmese
(looks alot like a siamese). He is white with a dark face
and ears with dark markings on feet and tail. Very shy, but
may come to a female. Will not come to a male. Please call

with white speckles on her chest, belly, and legs, and a little

- I am very distraught, we lost our 2 year old maltese in
Smithfield NC Oct. 16, 2006. We are from New York but my mother
in law was driving back from Florida and an 18 wheeler truck
had hit her car, causing the car to flip over many times.
in the midst of that, the dog flew from the car. His body
wasn't found, the car was stripped apart plus the area of
the accident was checked VERY thoroughly and NO dog. We think
he got so scared he ran from the accident. THe back window
was smashed where he was located and he flew from the car.
He could be running injured or not. He is very scared of loud
noises or sudden noises so he could've ran far. The accident
occurred right in front of the Howard Johnson Express Inn
on 197 Millard Road, Smithfield NC 27577. On the exit from
I95 North. We searched the entire vicinity for hours to come
up with nothing. We are heartbroken and our one year old maltese

Found
- On August 13, 2006 a Cairn Terrier was found in
Philllips Pointe subdivision of Fuquay-Varina. The terrier
is a female wearing a collar but no tags and no chip. The
vet thinks she is between 3 and 5 years old. She appears to
have been recently groomed and is good with other dogs and
children so I feel that she must be somebody's beloved pet.
However, after 2 weeks of posting flyers in the neighborhood
and vet offices as well as notifying Wake County SPCA and
Animal Control and local groomers, I have not had any luck
so am branching my search out. I am a little concerned that
no one appears to be looking for her. I can be reached at

- On August 15, 2006 sometime between 8:00am -6:00
pm my 10 week old lab puppy managed to escape from our fenced
in yard. She escaped from the yard on Vinson Rd, which is
located down the street from the Riverwoods subdivision; which
is not far from Wilson's Mills. She's a chocolate female,
very friendly and doesn't bark a whole lot, she gets along

- My son found a stray tabby in the Dairy Queen parking lot
on Hwy 70 on July 26, 2006. We decided to bring him/her home
to keep it from being killed on the highway. It is a gray
tabby with gold eyes. He’s very affectionate and not

- Lost in Selma, NC in the JR parking lot at the RTE 95 entrance/exit
on 2/15/06 Siamese (Snowshoe). He is a 9 month neutered male
who is mostly white with brown patches on his body. He has
a dark brown tail and a brown face mask with blue eyes. He
answers to Butters or Boo. He was not wearing a collar due
to a skin irritation and it is a very distinctive marking
around his neck where it is healing (missing fur). He is very

- We just recently moved down here (Clayton NC) from Jamestown
NY, about 3 mounths ago. Since I now live in a rural area
compared to the middle of a city, my cat has become an outside
cat since she still has all her claws. However, after the
bad thunderstorm we had about 2 weeks ago, I havn't seen her.
She is a mid-size shorthair and is entirely black. Her eyes
change from golden to green, but are most often golden. She
had a purple collar with rinestones and two ID tags. One with
her humane society number, the other with her name and adress
along with my cell number. I'm very afraid for her since she
just recently started going outside, and isn't use to alot

- Missing since Sept 14th: Missing from the Swift Creek/Cleveland
Community area. Five-year old male, neutered, light-orange
tabby. His name is Buddy and he has a white tip on his tail.
Buddy is a sweet kitty, who will talk when talked to, loves
a good sunbeam, and tends to put a paw over his eyes when
sleeping. He can also lay down like a "boneless cat"
when he stretches out. Buddy has beautiful eyes and an "M"

- Rocko, nine month old German Shepherd mix. He left his home
near the Meadow/I-40 exit on July 28 during a severe thunderstorm.
He is very slim, with a long, lanky body. He is tan and black
with golden eyes. He is probably extremely thin by now. He
has always been friendly, but may now be very shy and scared.

- Miss Kitty - Spayed 7 years old female, grey tabby,
with some rust color. Has some hair loss on her rear and tail
from a flea allergy. Has a small scratch on her upper lip,
no identification. She’s very wary of new people but
really is friendly, does not get along with other cats so
may have been “run off” by neighborhood cats.
Is mostly inside cat, but goes out for long excursions, however

The American Staff is black with a white chest and paws.
His ears are not docked. He has a microchip .The Collie
has a lot of hair like Lassie and markings like Lassie.

- I had two dogs, Copper and Trinity, run away Friday May
20, 2005. Copper was returned to me on 5/22/05. Unfortunately
Trinity lost her identification tags and she is still missing.
She is a 6 year old border collie (mix?). She has a red collar

Husky - Oden has been went missing 5/2/05 in the
area of Carolina Drive & Matt Mill Pond Road in Angier
(Harnett Co). He is black & white with hazel eyes. He
had on a purple faded nylon collar, he has a nick on his lower
left eyelid, multicolored tongue, he is current with all shots

all black, small-medium in size, neutered, young male cat
with a slightly, high-pitch meow. (I know all cats meow loudly,
but of the four I have, Charlie's is the highest pitched).

Azul was last seen on 10/07/04 at our home off Allen Rd in
the Cleveland School Area, Clayton. He is a 1 1/2 year old
neutered Russian Blue cat. His hair is gray. He weighs about
9lbs. He has lost some weight so one of his trade marks is
he has a little pouch which hangs from his under-belly. We
have been looking for him for almost 2 months. He is very
special to our family and we would like to have him back home

- Five year old female Persian from Apex, NC. Her name is
Golly and she is shaded silver with green eyes, and front
declawed. She's been missing since 2/12, as best we can tell.
We really don't know when or how she got out, but the last

she was quite a bit younger, but she looks pretty much the

- 'Gracie' is a 1 yr. old German Shepherd, Sable color. She is
tall, long, and slender with dark face & muzzle. Child in the
home let her out to potty and forgot her about 3:30 p.m. on Monday,
Jan. 6th. Original location of loss is corner of Eagle Rock Road
& Poole Road in Wendell, NC. Gracie is wearing a light blue color
with snowmen with the following tags: ID, Rabies, & CGC. She may
not come to men, better with women. Not dangerous dog but will
probably be scared. She does love other animals so she might be
